Give Your Asphalt a New Finish With GSB – 78 Coating Give your asphalt more than a facelift, by applying GSB-78 seal coat. This pavement maintenance system penetrates your asphalt to replenish natural oils and resins lost in normal wear and aging. As it penetrates and cures GSB-78 seals and binds to preserve your pavement and add the years and service that you expected when it was installed. GSB-78 renews the binder in a pavement’s top aggregate course. By adding natural asphalts and plasticizers, GSB-78 rejuvenates the structure's ability to withstand oxidation and natural deterioration. As it penetrates to improve the strength and flexibility of asphalt pavements, it creates a seal to prevent water intrusion and aggregate loss.

Tuff coat has been formulated to have the best adhesions and earliest cohesion of any seal coat on the market, no fibrous fillers are added to this product, resulting in only mineral solid residuals and faster setting more durable product. When properly applied and cured, Tuff coat forms a tough, weather, wear and UV resistant surface with the most tenacious bonding to the underlying asphalt you can get. The result is beautiful, deep black, protected pavement.

Crack sealing is one form of preventive pavement maintenance that ensures the consistent operation of our nation’s roadways. Pavement cracks develop due to expansion and contraction caused by temperature fluctuation. These cracks allow water to penetrate the pavement base and sub-base materials, causing pavement elements to lose structural integrity. If not repaired or prevented this cracking effect will grow, leading to deformation of the pavement, pot holes, and ultimately the degradation of asphalt. The use of hot applied sealants minimizes water penetration, sub-surface ice formation, and traffic erosion. Most importantly, crack sealing lengthens the life of roadways and parking lots. Keep in mind crack sealing is preventive maintenance, not reconstruction.

Geotextile paving fabrics are used as a moisture barrier and stress absorbing interlayer beneath any flexible pavement such as asphalt overlays or a chip seal.
